London Road, Bristol

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of a comprehensive energy efficiency retrofit on a social housing block located on London Road. This initiative marks a significant step towards improving the sustainability, comfort, and safety of social housing in the city, as part of the ambitious Bristol City Leap project.
According to the UK government and energy experts, moving from an EPC E to C could save a typical household anywhere between ÂŁ200 to ÂŁ400 per year on energy bills. For a two-bedroom flat, this estimate might be at the lower end of the range but can still provide considerable long-term savings, especially as energy prices continue to fluctuate.

External Wall Insulation Before & After

A new layer of insulation has been added to the building’s exterior, ensuring that homes stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer.

Cavity Wall Insulation Before & After

Gaps in the building’s walls have been filed with insulation, reducing heat loss and helping tenants save on heating bills.

uPVC Windows Before & After

All flats and communal areas have been fitted with new, high performance uPVC windows to increase security, reduce noise and improve energy efficiency.

Roof and Loft Insulation Before & After

A new roof has been installed, addressing leaks and improving insulation. Loft insulation has been added to retain heat and lower energy costs

New Front Doors Before & After

Each property has been fitted with a brand-new front door, improving both security and insulation. The new doors enhance safety and add to the overall look of the building.

Improved Ventilation Before & After

Enhanced continuous running ventilation systems to improve indoor air quality and reduce dampness and mould, making homes healthier for residents.
